rainy, rainy days...

i haven't blogged in a while, so i thought i would now (:

i think my last post was before i'd even had my first exam...
and now results are in FIVE DAYS! aaaaggghhhhhhhh T_T

anyway;; so i've had a busy summer...and been out waayyyy too much
but it's been fun! and the weather was nice...until now.

Jasper Garvida & Miele

so, i was invited by Leanne to a Q&A with Jasper Garvida, hosted by Miele on Monday (:

i've never been to these kind of events, so i was pretty excited!
so we set out to Oxford Circus and had a quick look around Topshop before meeting up with Vicky
and then off to the Miele Gallery, which was amazingggg!
i have to admit...i'd quite happily live in that kitchen. and one day..i'll own that washing machine ♥

unfortunately, most of my pictures came out blurry ):
but i do have a few!

this dress has the honeycomb design, which is found on the drums of the Miele washing machines and tumble dryers:

also had a chance to see some of Jasper's A/W 2010 collection
too many people were around the rack, so i didn't get a decent photo of my favourite piece...

but we had a little booklet with some of the other pieces in the collection and i do loveeee these~

i've taken it upon myself to take the day off school..
even though i only have 3 days left before Easter holidays.
i woke up late (by like, an hour and a half =_=) and realised that i hadn't finished all my work..and had some presentation to do - also unfinished.

so now i'm doing my coursework..fun fun!

i spent hours doing a technical drawing yesterday;;

i don't think i've drawn so many lines on one page...

so the exam i had today was pretty good (:

i saw "Discuss two or more definitions of abnormality" as my 12 mark question and thought, yeaaaaahhhhhhh babyyy!
good stuff ^^

HOWEVER i have a portfolio review on the 2nd of February for Chelsea College of Art...eekk!~~
AND THEN another one on the 4th for Kingston...KYAAAAAAA!
BUT i haven't really started preparing my portfolio yet AND i don't have my portfolio either ): still waiting for it from schoollllll >_<

it'll be okay though, cos Leanne has the same portfolio review days (:
i'm still ridiculously scared though.

moving on...
i finished making a mock model of my A-frame board today (:

the brilliance of MDF...complete with cardboard hinges and some string to keep it from falling flat :D hehe~
just a basic structure (:
obviously, i won't be using cardboard and string for the actual thing...

i can't sleep tonight.

it's just one of those nights.
i'm sitting in my bed, completely in the dark...i can just barely make out my keyboard from the light from my screen.
i think i've been here one too many times now.

i'm not really in the mood. but hey..there's not much else i can do at 3 something in the morning.

i did feel up for a walk.
i have those moments. when it's so quiet out in the street;; it's quite peaceful, dark and there's no one else about.
i wouldn't dare though - as Leanne knows of my fear for the trees on my street;; i know you're laughing right now.
that and my parents would probably shoot me and throw me down a well. or something like that.

went over to my cousin's house for a barbecue on Sunday, and stayed over for his party on Monday night xD
